In this work we implement the type II seesaw mechanism into the framework ofthe $U(1)_{B-L}$ gauge model. As main gain, the right-handed neutrinos of themodel get free to play the role of the dark matter of the universe. As sideeffect, the model realizes Higgs inflation without problem with loss ofunitarity.

Neutrino masses, cosmological inflation and dark matter in a $U(1)_{B-L}$ model with type II seesaw mechanism
