Simple method of producing high voltage pulses with short rising times basedon electrostatic induction in external capacitor used for pulse powerapplications is proposed. The circuit has simple structure and contains minimumnumber of parts. Sawtoothed high voltage pulses with short rising times and lowrepetitive rates of a few 100 Hz was generated in experiments. The calculatedresults for generating high voltage pulses were goodly consistent withexperimental ones. Moreover, it was confirmed that amplification of outputvoltage by EHD electricity generation using jet flame resulted in lowelectricity consumption and high repetition rates.
