In this paper a simplified superheating Rankine pump is presented. For aneasy understanding and study of its functioning principle, the pump has beenexperimentally implemented, with superheating obtained by an electricalresistance. The pump can be adapted to serve as a reliable and cheap irrigationpump, having reduced maintenance and operating costs, and consuming cleanenergy (concentrate solar energy).
