It is shown that two electrons located in a quantum well near a metalelectrode attract each other due to the spin-orbit interaction (SOI) of theBychkov-Rashba type and the electrostatic image forces. Using the example of asimple model, it is shown that, with quite attainable values of thecharacteristic parameters of the system, the effective attraction caused by SOIprevails over the Coulomb repulsion, and the formation of a bielectron becomespossible.
