An analytical solution to the problem of formation and propagation of largeamplitude shock electromagnetic waves in strip transmission line (TL) based onthe distributed semiconductor diode was obtained. This solution correctly takesinto account non-linearity, time dispersion and dissipation of TL. The resultsof the theory has been used to estimate the parameters of TL as peaker of thehigh voltage pulse applied to transmission line input.
