Ultra-intense lasers produce and manipulate plasmas, allowing to locallygenerate extremely high static and electromagnetic fields. This Letter presentsa concept of an ultra-intense optical tweezer, where two counter-propagatingcircularly polarized intense lasers of different frequencies collide on anano-foil. Interfering inside the foil, lasers produce a beat wave, which trapsand moves plasma electrons as a thin sheet with an optically controlledvelocity. The electron displacement creates a plasma micro-capacitor with anextremely strong electrostatic field, that efficiently generatesnarrow-energy-spread ion beams from the multi-species targets, e.g. protonsfrom the hydrocarbon foils. The proposed ion accelerator concept is exploredtheoretically and demonstrated numerically with the multi-dimensionalparticle-in-cell simulations.
