We study f-biharmonic and bi-f-harmonic submanifolds in both generalizedcomplex and Sasakian space forms. We prove necessary and sufficient conditionfor f-biharmonicity and bi-f-harmonicity in the general case and manyparticular cases. Some non-existence results are also obtained.
