This paper presents reviews of several models and numerical simulation modelsof non-linear and hysteresis behaviors of magneto-rheological liquid dampers inMATLAB/Simulink in the example of quarter-car model of vehicle suspensionsimulation, such as, Bingham, Dahl, LuGre and Bouc-Wen models. In addition, itdemonstrates numerical simulation models built in MATLAB/Simulink and discussesresults from numerical simulation models for two different input excitationsfrom terrain.
