We review our recent analysis of $\pi K$ scattering data in terms of forwarddispersion relations, and also present the parameters of the strangeresonances. This work consists of fits to the data that are constrained tosatisfy analyticity requirements. The method yields a set of simple andconsistent parameterizations that are compatible with forward dispersionrelations up to 1.6 GeV while still describing the data. We also obtain thepole parameters of the $K^*_0(800)$ and the $K^*(892)$ resonances.
