Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) is a promising candidate as an absorber material for thinfilm solar cells. The reported wet chemical synthesis approaches often have ahigh environmental impact due to the usage of abrasive solvents such ashydrazines, hydroxylamines, etc. We report an eco-friendly solvent basedapproach for making CZTS thin films with desirable absorption characteristicsfor solar cell applications.
