The duality between the partonic and hadronic descriptions ofelectron--nucleon scattering is a remarkable feature of nuclear interactions.When averaged over appropriate energy intervals the cross section at low energywhich is dominated by nucleon resonances resembles the smooth behavior expectedfrom perturbative QCD. Recent Jefferson Lab results indicate that quark-hadronduality is present in a variety of observables, not just the proton F2structure function. An overview of recent results, especially localquark-hadron duality on the neutron, are presented here.
