Average multiplicity of light nuclei produced in different interactions at4.2A GeVc is studied as a function of centrality. A change in multiplicity isobserved with increase in the mass of projectile. In 12CC-interactions anunexpected increase in the multiplicity is seen for the most central events.These measurements are compared with the predictions of Cascade and FritiofModels which fail to account for the experimentally observed effects. In caseof 12CC it is suggested that the inclusion of nuclear coalescence effect can bean explanatory reason for the differences between the experimental measurementsand the models predictions.

The study of light nuclei production in different interactions at 4.2 AGeV/c
