In this paper, we study the effects of spike timing-dependent plasticity onsynchronisation in a network of Hodgkin-Huxley neurons. Neuron plasticity is aflexible property of a neuron and its network to change temporarily orpermanently their biochemical, physiological, and morphologicalcharacteristics, in order to adapt to the environment. Regarding theplasticity, we consider Hebbian rules, specifically for spike timing-dependentplasticity (STDP), and with regard to network, we consider that the connectionsare randomly distributed. We analyse the synchronisation and desynchronisationaccording to an input level and probability of connections. Moreover, we verifythat the transition for synchronisation depends on the neuronal networkarchitecture, and the external perturbation level.
