We describe isometric embeddings of polar Grassmann graphs formed bynon-maximal singular subspaces. In almost all cases, they are induced bycollinearity preserving injections of polar spaces. As a simple consequence ofthis result, we get a metric characterization of apartments in polarGrassmannians.
