We study locally free sheaves of rank two on the projective line over theintegers, especially indecomposable ones. Subsequently we apply variousconcepts of Arakelov geometry to these sheaves. We compute for example thearithmetic Chern classes and use the arithmetic Riemann-Roch theorem.
