As educational institutions and their departments rapidly increase, acommunication between their end-users becomes more and more difficult intraditional online management systems (OMS). However, the end-users, i.e.,employees, teaching staff, and students are associated to different sub-domainsand using different subsystems that are executed on different platformsfollowing different administrative policies. Because of theirintercommunication is not automated integrated, consequently, the overallefficiency of the system is degraded and the communication time is increased.Therefore, a technique for better interoperability and automated integration ofdepartments is an urgent needed. Many of existing systems does not have a setof connections yet, such as the system of the University of Sindh (UoS). Inthis paper, we propose a system for the UoS, named integration ofinter-connectivity of information system (i3) based on service orientedarchitecture (SOA) with web services. The system i3 monitors and exchanges thestudents information in support of verification along heterogeneous anddecentralized nature. Moreover, the proposed system provides capability ofinteroperability between their subsystems that are deployed in differentdepartments of UoS and using different programming languages and databasemanagement systems (DBMS)
