We demonstrate that the extensive class of open Markov quantum systemsdescribing by the Pauli master equation can be represented in so- calledquasithermodynamic form .Such representation has certain advantages in manyrespects for example it allows one to specify precisely the parameter region inwhich the relaxation of the system in question to its stationary state occursmonotonically.With a view to illustrate possible applications of suchrepresentation we consider concrete Markov model that has in our opinionself-dependent interest namely the explanation of important and wellestablished by numerous experiments the Yerkes-Dodson law in psychology
