Within the framework of the effective-field theory (EFT) with correlations,the phase diagrams of a cylindrical spin-1 Ising nanowire is investigated,depending on the ratio of the Hamiltonian parameters. We discuss in detail theinfluence of interfacial coupling, crystal field and transfer field ratio onthe phase diagrams, and some characteristic phenomena have been found such astricritical point and first-order transitions.
