The availability of asteroseismic constrains for of large sample of starsobserved with CoRoT and Kepler paves the way for statistical studies of theseismic properties of stellar populations, and becomes a powerful tool tobetter understand stellar structure and evolution. Here I present predictionsof stellar models computed with the code STAREVOL including thermohaline mixingtogether with rotational mixing. I compare the theoretical predictions for thechemical properties of stars with recent spectroscopic of both field andcluster stars observations, and discuss the effects of both mechanisms onasteroseismic diagnostics, as well as on Galactic chemical evolution ofhelium-3.
