We present a determination of the nucleon parton distribution functions(PDFs) and of the strong coupling constant $\alpha_s$ atnext-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in QCD based on the world data fordeep-inelastic scattering and the fixed-target data for the Drell-Yan process.The analysis is performed in the fixed-flavor number scheme for $n_f=3,4,5$ anduses the $\bar{MS}$ scheme for $\alpha_s$ and the heavy quark masses. The fitresults are compared with other PDFs and used to compute the benchmark crosssections at hadron colliders to the NNLO accuracy.
