The paper investigates some basic dynamical properties of a general systemobtained from the Lorenz system using a non-linear feedback controller. Wefocus on the bifurcation of the equilibrium points and on the existence and thedescription of homoclinic and heteroclinic orbits. We present necessaryconditions for the anticontrol of chaos in the considered system.
