We present the results of the Model Unspecific Search in CMS (MUSiC), whichsystematically scans the data taken by the CMS detector for deviations from theStandard Model predictions. Due to the minimal theoretical bias this approachis sensitive to a variety of models for new physics. Events containing at leastone electron or muon are classified according to their content of reconstructedobjects (muons, electrons, photons, jets and missing transverse energy). Abroad scan of three kinematic distributions in those classes is performed byidentifying deviations from Standard Model expectations, accounting forsystematic uncertainties.  In this particular search data taken by CMS in the year 2010, correspondingto an integrated luminosity of 36.1/pb, have been analysed.
