It is very well known that the rare electroweak processes could be verysensitive to the physics beyond the Standard Model. These processes aredescribed with quantum loop diagrams containing also heavy particles. We showthat the electroweak theory with the noncontractible space, as asymmetry-breaking mechanism without the Higgs scalar, essentially changes theStandard Model prediction of the branching ratio of the B_s meson decaying totwo muons. The branching ratio is lower by more than 30% compared with theStandard Model result. Although the measurements are very challenging, theimplications on the selection of the symmetry-breaking mechanism could bedecisive.

On the rare B_s to two muons decay and noncontractibility of the physical space
