An iso-singlet W' carrying hypercharge one is considered within an effectiveLagrangian approach. The predictions for the exclusion in the (M_{W'},g_q/g)parameter space presented in Ref. [1] for the search in the di-jet invariantmass spectrum are shown to be in reasonable agreement with the LHC resultsbased on 1 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity.
