IGMtransmission is a Java graphical user interface that implements MonteCarlo simulations to compute the corrections to colours of high-redshiftgalaxies due to intergalactic attenuation based on current models of theIntergalactic Medium. The effects of absorption due to neutral hydrogen areconsidered, with particular attention to the stochastic effects of Lyman LimitSystems. Attenuation curves are produced, as well as colours for a wide rangeof filter responses and model galaxy spectra. Alternative filter responsecurves and spectra may be readily uploaded. The code is freely available fromhttp://code.google.com/p/igmtransmission. It is licensed under the GNU GeneralPublic License v.3.
