We report on an indirect method being used to measure luminosity at LHCb. Itinvolves recording the event rate of elastic diphoton dimuon production.Preliminary MC studies suggest that with 1 fb^{-1} of data this method couldprovide a luminosity measurement with a precision of better than 2%
