We present a compositional compressible two-phase, liquid and gas, flow modelfor numerical simulations of hydrogen migration in deep geological radioactivewaste repository. This model includes capillary effects and the gasdiffusivity. The choice of the main variables in this model, Total or DissolvedHydrogen Mass Concentration and Liquid Pressure, leads to a unique andconsistent formulation of the gas phase appearance and disappearance. Afterintroducing this model, we show computational evidences of its adequacy tosimulate gas phase appearance and disappearance in different situations typicalof underground radioactive waste repository.
