The purpose of this study is to evaluate the fire resistance of steel structural members based on fire-resistant design and heat load tests. The limiting temperature was calculated for each case of load ratio based on the strength of the compression member. Based on the thermal stress analysis, the limiting temperature of the steel structural compression member was obtained as a function of the sectional shape, height, and load ratio.
