This review summarizes recent advances in the design and synthesis of novel monomer 3, 6-diamino N-substituted carbazole and the polymerization techniques of monomer i.e. 3, 6-diamino N-substituted carbazole with the chloroformic esters of ethylene glycol, propene glycol and 1, 4-butane di-ol. The polymers have been characterized by IR, UV-visible and NMR spectroscopy.
