Öz Günümüz Ortadoğusu’nda bir devlet olarak varlığını sürdüren İsrail’in (İsrailoğulları’nın), zamanımızdan yaklaşık 3200 yıl önce Hz. Musa’nın önderliğinde şuanda üzerinde yaşadıkları topraklara göç ettiğini gerek Mısır kaynaklarından gerekse Yahudiler’in kutsal kitabı Tevrat’tan öğreniyoruz. Ancak İsrailoğulları kendilerine vaat edilen topraklara geldikleri zaman, bu ülkenin boş olmadığını görmüşlerdir. Çünkü bu topraklara, Egeli kavimlerden biri olan Filistler yerleşmişlerdi. Abstarct We learn from the Egyptian sources and the holy book of the Torah, that the Israelites, who survived as a state in today’s Middle East, emigrated to the lands they live on about 3200 years ago under the leadership of Moses. But when the Israelites came to the land promised to them, they saw that this country was not unoccupied. Because the Philistines who were one of the Agean tribes had settled in this land. This means that the Israelites had to fight against the Philistines in order to regain the country promised to them. This struggle will last for about 150 years and during the time of David the Israelites will take the Philistines under their sovereignty. The struggle of these two peoples who have fought for the Palestinian territories thousands of years ago, continues today.
