We developed a new type marine fender called as Hybrid−fenderwhich was consisted of a first fender, a guide pipe and an oil da皿 per . In order to investigate the property , we conducted several ship berthing tests in prototype . Then we confirmed that the fender had several different unique properties compared with the existing marine fenders . On the other hand ,several fender designs which consider not only the ship −berthing energy but also moored ship motions have been done because problems on large and longperiod moored ship motions in harbor basins have been revealed in many ports and harbors around the world . In the fender design, anumerical simulation method on 皿 oored ship motions has to be used properly . In this paper , we try to model the property of hybrid −fender in the numerical simulation of ship motions and verify the modeling by reproducing the ship −berthing test. 1L 緒 言 近年、防舷 材 の 設計 ・選定に お い て 、従来の 船舶 の 接岸 エ ネ ル ギ ーに よ る選 定だ け で な く、波 ・風 等 の 外力下 におけ る係留船舶 の 動揺 を考 慮した 選定が 行 われ る事例 が み られ る ’2。こ れ は 日本 ある い は 世界各地 の 外洋に 面す る港 湾 で 報告 さ れ て い る波 周 期1〜5分 程 度 の 長 周期波来襲 に よ る 船 舶 の 係留 問 題 4 が 原因で あ る と共に こ れ に対応 して、平成元 年 お よび11年度版 の 設計基準 ⊂5)(6) が 改訂 され た こ と に もよる。また係 留船舶 の 動揺 を考慮 した防舷材 の 選定 に お い て は 、波浪及 び 風外力下 で の 船体動揺 を 推算 す る動揺 シ ミ ュ レ ー シ ョ ン が 用 い られ る が 、よ り現実に 即 した数値 シ ミ ュ レ 〜シ ョ ン の 開発 が 必要 と な っ て い る。 一 方、オ イル ダ ン パ ーを用 い た 係留 シ ス テ ム の 改 善に よる船体 運動 お よび船舶の 接 岸 エ ネ ル ギーの 低 減化 に 関す る研 究 が 行 われ、数値 シ ミ ュ レ ー シ ョ ン を用 い て そ の 有効 [生が 示 さ れ た 〔η 。 当該 研 究 に 引 き 続 き 、 我 々 は 平成 11年 3 月に 世 界 に 先駆 け て オ イ ル ダ ン パ ーを用 い た新 しい 形式の 防舷材で ある ハ イブ Il ッ ドフ ェ ン ダ ー を開発 し、そ の 特 性評価 の た め 449 GT 船 を用 い た接岸実験 を行 っ た ()。こ れ に よ り、従 来 の ソ リッ ド式 また は 空気式防舷 材 と異な る 反力特
