In an ordinal method for determining lens parameters, we have to find out the magnification and distances of object and its focused image from the optical center point using some suitable precise equipments. We propose a new simple method to estimate lens parameters based on a least squares processing of the data obtained by measuring some pairs of relative working distance and back focus repeatedly without any precise equipment.
