This paper presents a method of designing an indirect model reference adaptive control system for single-input single-output linear continuous plants. In the system, the adjustable parameters converge exponentially to their true values and the adaptive input signal can be simply generated. A proof of the boundedness of all signals in the system is given. The property of exponential convergence of the adjustable parameters is used in the proof which is different from the previous works investigated in direct MRACS's.
