In the article some peculiarities of a plot and poetics of Khakass heroic epos «Three times married Khan-Mirgen» are under consideration. This epos has significant commonness and similarity of plots and motives with famous epos «Ai-Khuchiin» in P. V. Kurbizhekov’s performance but in the meantime it has own distinguishing features. A style of Khakass heroic epos is characteristic of epic formulas, epithets, comparisons, hyperbolas, repetitions, metaphors. In heroic epos epithets are divided into simple and compound. That is one of marks of high maturity of its poetic style. An important artistic-graphic mean of Khakass heroic legendries is a comparison. It is also characteristic that epithets and comparisons often take in a hyperbolic hint Keywords: heroic epos, Kurbizhekov, motives, plots poetics, epithet, comparison, hyperbola.
