e author attempted to observe larval ticks and mites by low evacuated scanning electron microscopy, in order to evaluate the operating e ciency and the usefulness for morphological identi cation of minute acarid group. As results, this microscopy was remarkably useful to take excellent photomicrographs and to improve the manner of identication.
