We investigate theoretically $\Lambda$ production spectra of $^3$He($\pi$,$K$) reactions at $p_\pi=$ 1.05--1.20 GeV/$c$ in the distorted-wave impulseapproximation, using the continuum-discretized coupled-channel method. Theproduction cross section of a $^3_\Lambda$H(1/2$^+$) ground state is alsodiscussed.
