INCONELB alloy 725 (UNS N07725) is a highly corrosion resistant nickel based alloy capable of being age-hardened to high strength levels. In order to determine the potential applicability of alloy 725 in aircraft gas turbine engines, a research program was undertaken to study the solution anneal and age-hardening treatments for required elevated temperature properties.
