Complexing of hybrid legal information systems and databases in a unified complex (automated workplace) is a feature of the modern period of the development of different in their end use and composition existing systems used in the law enforcement forces activities: automated workplace «GROVD», expert system «Octopus». The authors analyze the main types of automated workplaces, classify them by different characteristics and give their own definition of the term «Automated workplace of a lawyer» which as they hope fully defines the essence of this notion.
