En Gran Bretaña y Estados Unidos, referencias obligadas en el estudio de la comunicación política, diferentes autores denuncian desde hace décadas la derivación de la praxis política de la táctica al sensacionalismo. Es decir, se admite una banalización del proceso político, que se atribuye en parte al protagonismo que tienen en el proceso comunicacional de la política los asesores de comunicación y/o estrategia, en el ámbito anglosajón conocidos como los spin doctors. Siempre adaptados al contexto social y al sistema propio de cada país, muchas de las tendencias que se han impuesto en estos países nos acaban llegando y acaban configurando también nuestra política. A nivel español, la democracia mediática se ha instalado hace años y la banalización del proceso también. Dos políticos paradigma de esta nueva política que se ha acabado imponiendo, Barack Obama y José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, protagonizaron en abril de 2009 un momento descriptivo de este contexto.In the United Kingdom and the United States, references in political communication, different authors report the migration of the political praxis, from tactic to tabloid. They admit the banalisation of the political process, which is attributed in part to the leadership that spin doctors have in the communicational process of politics. Always adapted to the social context and the own system of each country, many of the tendencies that have been imposed in these countries are arriving among us and are configuring also our politics. In Spain, democracy based on media power has been installed as well as the banalisation of the political process. Two paradigmatic politicians of this new kind of politics, Barack Obama and José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, were protagonists in April 2009 of a descriptive moment of this context
