This paper explores international coverage of Pussy Riot and related digital network activism around the digital news flows. Theoretically, the essay takes as its starting point the focal position of processes of assembly and the realist social ontology of actor-network structures of digital media ecology. It explores new types of participatory assemblages and how they use material and virtual media spaces as part of their subversive action. In particular, the interest is in the relational space, digital network action and processes of assembly (Jackson, 1989; Shields, 1991; Keith and Pile, 1993; Crang, 1998). Drawing on recent studies on actornetwork theory(Latour, 2005; Serres, 1995; Law & Hassard, 1991) and assemblage theory (Deleuze & Guattari, 1996; Hetherington and La,w 2000; DeLanda, 2006), it focuses on how thinking of media as assembling practices provides a basis for conceptualizations of the parameters of the media–politics nexus. Empirically the paper explores actors and processes of media narratives in the online coverage in four newspapers (the Guardian, the New York Times, Novaya Gazeta, and Rossiyskaya Gazeta).Šiame straipsnyje nagrinėjamos Pussy Riot ir panašios skaitmeninės įtinklintos aktyvizmo formos tarptautinėje žiniasklaidoje. Teorinis pagrindas – dalyvavimo (angl. assembly), skaitmeninių medijų ekologijos, tinklaveikos struktūrų ir realistinės socialinės ontologijos procesų analizė. Straipsnyje aptariami nauji kolektyvinio dalyvavimo būdai, taip pat materialių ir virtualių medijų erdvių panaudojimas. Visų pirma, diskutuojama apie komunikacines erdves, skaitmeninės tinklaveikos ir dalyvavimo procesus (Jackson, 1989; Shields, 1991; Keith ir Pile, 1993; Crang, 1998). Remiantis naujausiais tyrimais apie veikėjo ir tinklo santykį (Latour, 2005; Serres, 1995; Hassard ir teisė, 1991) ir kolektyvinį dalyvavimą (Deleuze’as ir Guattari, 1996; Hetherington ir teisė, 2000; DeLanda, 2006), medijos suvokiamos kaip kolektyvinio dalyvavimo praktikos konceptualiame medijų ir politikos santykio lygmenyje. Straipsnyje taip pat pristatomi empirinio tyrimo rezultatai – veikėjai ir naratyvai keturiuose dienraščiuose („The Guardian“, „The New York Times“, „Novaya Gazeta“ ir „Rossiiskaya Gazeta“)
