In practice teaching, a student teacher of physical education has various plans for physical education lessons. Researching their plans helps us for developing the training program of practice teaching. The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of the student teachers’ plans for physical education lessons in the practice teaching by Text Mining method. 317 students (male=194, female=123) were participated in this study. In the subsequent lesson of practice teaching, they were asked about their plans in the form of the open-ended questions. We analyzed their free writing comments. The method of Text Mining was used for the credibility and the convenience in the process of analyzing. The characteristics of their descriptions were evaluated by the number of appearances of words. The words which occurred less than about 5% were excluded. On the other hand, the words whose number of appearances was prominent were also excluded, because these associations with contents were low. Six words which were “fun” (47 times), “explanation” (44 times), “think” (43 times), “use”, “example” and “voice” were extracted. The “fun” and “think” had various co-occurrences. Especially “think” co-occurred with “oneself” and “safe” frequently. The “explanation” co-occurred with “do” and “use”, and “voice” did with “big” and “speak”, respectively. The result of the dependency analysis indicated that “voice + speak”, “care + take”, “voice + big”, “example + show” and “direction + give” occurred more than 6 times. It was suggested that student teachers regarded “fun”, “safe” and “explanation” as important. The “voice” had little relationship with interaction between teachers and students. The method of Text Mining could be used for investigation of planning reports for physical education lessons in practice teaching. スポーツ教育学研究 第 33巻 第 2号 平成 25年 10月 ─ 16 ─ I.緒言 教育実習では、教育実習生自身が学習指導案を 作り、その学習指導案を基に実際に授業が行われ る。このような段階においては、教育実習生は授 業を行うにあたり、さまざまな工夫をしていると 考えられる。実際に授業でどのような工夫が行わ れたのかを把握することは、今後の教育実習の指 導プログラムを考えていく上で大変貴重な資料と なると思われる。 こうした調査では、一般に質問紙による調査方 法がよく用いられる。そして、その回答形式は、 その後の分析の便宜のために選択肢を選ぶ方法が 用いられることが多い。この方法では、質問者が 予めカテゴリー別に選択肢を設定しておく必要が あり、必ずしも回答者の考えをすべて網羅してい るとは限らない。これに対し、自由記述形式での 質問紙調査は、回答者の考えをより反映した詳細 なデータが得られる可能性がある。しかしながら、 こうしたデータの分析では、分析者の主観が入る 余地が多くあり、客観的な基準を定めることが困 難である。また、データの数が多くなると大変な 労力となる。近年、テキストマイニングという自 然言語を定量的に分析する手法が用いられるよう になってきた。この方法では、自由記述文に対し て、意味を持つ最小の言語単位である形態素に分 かち書きすることにより、自然言語を定量的に分 析することが可能となるのである。しかも、その 分析過程の手順はすべて客観化することができる ため、分析者によらずに同様の結果が得られるこ とになる。 テキストマイニングを用いることにより、数百 名から得られた自由記述形式の質問紙調査の結果 について、簡便に分析することができる可能性が ある。また、質問紙調査の選択肢を設定するため の予備的調査として活用できる。教育実習の指導 プログラムにおいても、Webシステム上での教育 支援システムが利用されるようになってきている ことから、今後、こうした分析方法が確立される ことには意味がある。 そこで、本研究では、教育実習後の事後指導に おいて作成された教育実習報告書にある自由記述 形式の回答文について、テキストマイニングの手 法を用いて頻出語の抽出を行うことにより分析を 行い、教育実習における体育の授業で工夫したこ との内容を調べることを目的とした。 II.方法 分析対象とする自由記述形式の回答文は、C大 学体育学部の教育実習履修者の教育実習終了後に 行われる事後指導の際に提出された「2009年度 体育学部教育実習報告」から得ることとした。デー タ件数は、男子学生 194名、女子学生 123名分 の計 317件であった。教育実習先は、東海地方を 中心として全国の中学校と高等学校が含まれてい た。 報告書には、教育実習に関する一般的な調査項 目(実習校、担当クラス、授業の題材・種目と時 間など)に加えて、「事前準備や教材研究をどの ようにしたか?」、「授業で工夫したこと」(保健 と体育の別に)、「教育実習で最も印象に残ったこ と」、「後輩に伝えておきたいこと」といった質問 項目があった。書式は A4判の用紙 1枚で、記述 式の回答を求める質問項目に対しては 3~ 4行程 度の回答スペースが設けられていた。これらの質 問項目の中から、「授業で工夫したこと」の体育 についての自由記述形式の回答文を分析対象とし た。 分析の手順は、まず最初に、手書きの自由記述 形式の回答文を原文に忠実にコンピュータに入力 しテキストデータ化した。次いで、そのテキスト データに対して日本語としての正しい表記の表現 になるように修正を施した。テキストマイニング による分析には、この修正されたテキストデータ を用いた。 テキストマイニングのための自由記述文の自然 言語処理については、松村、三浦 (2009) による TTM (TinyTextMiner) を用いた。TTMでは、形 態素解析エンジンとしてMeCab (メカブ)、日本 語の係り受け解析を行うシステムとして CaboCha (カボチャ) を用いている。係り受け解析では、 修飾する側と修飾される側との関係など、対に なった語の分析を行った。分析にあたっては、キー ワードファイルに、MeCabに定義された辞書に 依存しないユーザー定義の語として「示範」とい う語を登録した。複数の単語をまとめて 1つの 分析単位として設定でき、合算処理できる同義語
