Rehabilitation for the Movement Functions, Research Institute, National Rehabilitation Center for the Persons with Disabilities, NRCD ■ 本論文は提案性で評価されました. め装着性が悪く,フックのデザインが外観を損ねており,使用 に際しての心理的負担が大きい.能動フックは製品化から 50年 以上経っているが,機構や外観は変化しておらず,研究開発は あまり進んでいない. 一方,筋電義手は人間の手に近い外観を有し,切断端から計測 可能な筋電位を信号源とする直感的な操作性が特長である.能動 義手のようにハーネスを必要としないため,装着性も良い.Otto bock社は 1960年代に開閉可能な 3指を持ったMyobockを商品 化し,最近では 5指の動作が可能なMichelangelo Hand [2]を 商品化している.Touch Bionics社の iLimb [3],RSL Steeper 社の bebionic [4]も同様の 5指の義手である.現在の義手の研 究開発はこのような 5指の筋電義手をいかに実現するかに注力 されている [5]~[12].しかし,人間の手と同様の外観と機能を 実現するためには,複数のアクチュエータ,複雑な機構,高性 能なプロセッサが必要となり,必然的に高価となる.安価とさ れるOtto bock社のMyobockでも 150万円,高価な義手では 500万円以上となるため,日本の補装具の支給制度では支給が 困難であり,これらの筋電義手を入手することは容易ではない. また,筋電義手は切断肢を挿入するソケット部を含めて 900 [g]
