L'étang de grossissement des carpes en polyculture en climat semi-aride présente un développement excessif des Cyanobactéries en été. Ces dernières semblent affecter la production de la carpe argentée (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) dans cet étang. La diminution de la vitesse de croissance à la fin de la période de grossissement (- 0,38 %/j) est liée également à l'avènement sexuel.Le rapport N (disponible)/P (disponible) ne peut pas être considéré comme indicateur de la composition algale du milieu. L'application répétée de fertilisants azotés, la concentration élevée en oxygène dissous et la présence de la carpe argentée n'ont pas empêché la prolifération des Cyanobactéries, seule l'agitation mécanique leur est défavorable.The carp pond in semi-arid climate showed an excessive developpment of Cyanobacteria in summer. The high diminution of silver carp specific growth rate was probably depending on the presence of this phytoplanktonic group and a part of energy was used for the fabrication of gametes. The specific growth rate in the end of work period was - 0.38%/j.The N/P ratio could not be used as indicator of algae composition. Nitrogenous fertilizers applied many times, high concentration of dissolved oxygen and presence of silver carp have not limited the proliferation of Cyanobacteria in ponds. The only mecanic agitation of water was the solution to decrease them
