Case study of the leadership exercised by three school administrators in the implementation of co-teaching at the secondary level Nancy GRANGER, University of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada Philippe TREMBLAY, Laval University, Quebec, Canada The leadership of school administrators is recognized to have a positive effect on the establishment of successful co-teaching. More specifically, it is a question of taking up leadership practices in the establishment of a co-teaching system, and identifying levers, challenges and avenues for solutions. The objective of this article is to identify the leadership style adopted by the administration. Semi-structured interviews made it possible to question the principals on six themes: the context of the implementation of co-teaching, school organization, the mandate given to co-teachers, follow-up carried out by the administration, assessment of the project, advice to be given to another administration, and wishes for the continuation of the project. The analyzes reveal three areas of management relating to leadership of the administration, namely promoting a vision of co-teaching, rethinking school organization and establishing a relationship of trust with the school team. In the end, the analysis shows that these three administrations have implemented more distributed leadership in their school.
