La formation documentaire, qui a pour but de développer l’autonomie dans la recherche de l’information, est essentielle et pourtant négligée. On constate des lacunes importantes à ce sujet chez les collégiens, à cause des pratiques actuelles qui négligent ce type de formation. Et ces lacunes sont présentes chez les enseignants. Des objectifs de formation documentaire peuvent cependant être proposés à la faveur du renouveau collégial afin de redresser la situation.Training young people to find information is essential, and yet is neglected. Several major shortcomings have been noticed in college students primarily because current practices neglect this type of training. The same shortcomings have also been observed in the teaching staff. Teaching young people how to find information can be included in the revision of college programmes.La formación documental que tiene el propósito de desarrollar la autonomía en la investigación de la información, es esencial y sin embargo descuidada. Se constata lagunas importantes en los colegios, a causa de prácticas actuales que descuidan este tipo de formación. Y estas lagunas se encuentran también en los profesores. Pueden ser propuestos unos objetivos de formación documental dentro de una renovación colegial con el propósito de mejorar la situación
