Cet article présente la démarche d’expérimentation du bilan sociétal actuellement conduite par la Confédération française de la coopération agricole (CFCA). Ce sont aussi bien les finalités que les modalités de mise en oeuvre au sein des coopératives qui sont développées ici par le président de la CFCA. Outil pour évaluer l’opportunité des réponses coopératives aux demandes sociales, le bilan sociétal doit aussi constituer une aide à la décision stratégique et permettre une meilleure implication des adhérents.This article presents the experimental approach with the social responsibility report currently being conducted by the Confédération française de la coopération agricole (CFCA). Both the means and the objectives of its implementation within cooperatives are examined in this article by the president of the CFCA. A tool for measuring the appropriateness of cooperative solutions to social needs, the social responsibility report should also be of help in making strategic decisions and enable members to be better involved
