Le présent article suggère une réflexion théorique concernant l’acte de lire. Sur la base de cette réflexion, une posture épistémologique socioconstructiviste est clairement prise pour structurer un modèle d’intervention de lecture interactive pouvant guider le jeune enfant dans la compréhension des textes avant même la scolarisation formelle. Pour illustrer la pertinence pédagogique de ce modèle, deux exemples d’enfants sourds sont présentés de façon comparative, l’un des enfants ayant bénéficié quotidiennement du modèle d’intervention autour de la lecture interactive.This article puts forward a theoretical reflection on the act of reading. Based on this reflection, a socio-constructivist epistemological posture is clearly adopted to structure an intervention model for interactive reading that can guide young children in text comprehension even before they begin formal schooling. To illustrate the pedagogical relevance of this model, we present comparatively the examples of two deaf children. One of the children had benefited daily from the intervention model for interactive reading
