Notre travail traite de l’émergence d’une fonction d’innovation (Le Massonet al., 2006) basée sur des activités de conception inventive au seindes PME. Notre attention se porte sur la démarche TRIZ (Altshuller, 1984), quipropose un certain nombre de concepts et outils qui permettent une approchesystématique de la conception inventive.Comme le souligne Boldrini (2008, 2010), les PME peuvent bénéficier d’uneaide extérieure pour la mise en oeuvre d’une telle fonction. Notre travailexploratoire repose sur l’étude de deux cas de PME innovantes, qui mettent enévidence le rôle de l’intrapreneur pour la mise en oeuvre d’innovationsorganisationnelles (Daft et Becker, 1978; Hage, 1999; Carrier, 1994, 1996, 1997)dans les PME.Our article deals with the emergence of an organization devoted to innovation(Le Masson et al., 2006), based on inventive design approaches. We use a multiplecase study to analyze the implementation of a TRIZ approach within SMEs.As pointed out by Boldrini (2008, 2010), SMEs willing to implement aninnovation oriented organization are likely to seek outside support. Our exploratorystudy of two innovative firms highlights the role of the intrapreneur for theachievement of organizational innovations (Daft and Becker, 1978; Hage, 1999;Carrier, 1994, 1996, 1997) in SMEs).Nuestro artículo trata de la aparición de una organización dedicada a lainnovación (Le Masson et al., 2006), basada en los enfoques de diseño de lainvención. Utilizamos un estudio de varios casos para analizar la aplicación de unenfoque de TRIZ en las PYMEs.Como ha señalado Boldrini (2008, 2010), las PYMEs que deseen poner enpráctica una organización orientada a la innovación son propensas a buscar ayudaexterna.
