L’institutionnalisation des codes éthiques permet-elle de résoudre ce que les sociologues font aux « enquêtés »? Nous argumentons pour montrer que cette dernière, si elle peut mettre en oeuvre le principe de précaution à la fois pour les chercheurs et les enquêtés, est loin du principe de responsabilité. Dans cette direction, nous nous interrogeons sur ce que signifie le « faire » de l’expression précédente et le considérons par rapport aux caractères techniques, pratiques et émancipatoires des intérêts à la connaissance définis par Habermas. Puis nous présentons comment à l’intérieur de la pratique sociologique elle-même, la question de l’éthique se joue tant au plan ontologique, épistémologique qu’au plan de la méthode.Will the institutionalising of ethical codes help solve «what sociologists do to people they interview»? Our discussion will show that while doing so might implement the principle of precaution both for the researchers and the interviewees yet it by far fails to answer the principle of responsibility. Along this line, we will question the meaning of the «enforcement» of the phrase above and examine it in connection with the technical, practical and liberating characteristics of the interest for knowledge as defined by Habermas. Then we will develop how the ethical issue is played at the ontological, epistemological as well as methodological level, within sociological practice itself.¿Puede institucionalizar códigos éticos llegar a resolver “lo que sociólogos hacen a las personas interrogadas”? Argumentaremos para mostrar que si hacerlo permite aplicar el principio de precaución tanto para los investigadores como para las personas interrogadas, en realidad eso nos deja muy lejos del principio de responsabilidad. En aquella dirección, nos preguntaremos lo que significa “hacerlo” y lo consideraremos con respecto a las características técnicas, prácticas y emancipadoras del interés por el saber Habemas ha definidas. Presentaremos después como se juega, dentro de la práctica sociológica misma, la cuestión de la ética, desde el punto de vista antológico, epistemológico y metodológico
