A Rivière-du-Loup, sur la rive sud de l'estuaire du Saint-Laurent, la transgression marine postglaciaire (Mer de Goldthwait), qui a eu lieu entre 12,5 et 12,8 ka. a atteint un niveau voisin de 135 m d'altitude. Le relèvement isostatique a été très rapide. Vers 9000 ans BP, 85 % de l'emersion des terres était déjà réalisé. Trois coupes levées au droit de schorre supérieur actuel ont permis de mettre en évidence l'existence d'un bas niveau marin au milieu de l'Holocène suivi d'une transgression mineure d'une amplitude indéterminée, mais vraisemblablement de l'ordre de ± 8 m. En effet, un dépôt organique relique, daté de 6200 ± 100 à 7140 ± 70 BP et reposant sur des sédiments argileux de la Mer de Goldthwait, est recouvert de sédiments intertidaux limono-sableux stratifiés contenant des colonies de Mya arenaria en position de vie, datées de 5610 ± 90 à 5700 ± 90 BP. La terrasse Mitis (niveau de ± 6m d'altitude) a été construite entre 3000 et 1500 ans BP. alors que le schorre supérieur, qui surmonte un substrat de sable fin et de limon stratifiés en lits minces (ancienne slikke) daté d'environ 850 ans BP, est une construction intertidale relativement récente: moins de 300 ans BP. Ces données corroborent les faits mis en évidence dans cinq autres sites de la rive Sud de l'estuaire du Saint-Laurent.At Rivière-du-Loup, a locality along the south shore of the St. Lawrence Estuary, the postglacial marine transgression (Goldthwait Sea), which occurred between 12.5 and 12.8 ka, reached a maximum level of approximately 135 m. The isostatic recovery was very rapid. By 9000 BP, about 85% of the coastal emergence had occurred. Three sections in the present day high tidal marsh provided evidence for a low stand of the sea level during the mid-Holocene, which was followed by a minor transgression, possibly up to 8 m in range. These events are documented by fossil organic deposits dated between 6200 ± 100 and 7140 ± 70 BP overlying deep marine clay of the Goldthwait Sea, and overlayed by an intertidal deposit of stratified fine sand and silt containing colonies of Mya arenaria in living position dated between 5610 ± 90 and 5700 ± 90 BP. The Mitis Terrace (+6m level) was built between 3000 and 1500 BP, while the modern high marsh which overlies a tidal flat deposit of stratified fine sand and silt, dated circa 850 BP, is younger than 300 years BP. These data supply additional evidence for Holocene sea level fluctuations already observed in five other localities along the south shore of the St. Lawrence Estuary.Bei Rivière-du-Loup, auf dem Sudufer der Sankt-Lorenz-Gezeitenmùndung, hat die postglaziale marine Transgression (Goldthwait-Meer), die zwischen 12,5 und 12,8 ka stattgefunden hat, ein Niveau von nahezu 135 m Hôhe erreicht. Tatsâchlich ist eine organische Restablagerung, die von 6200 ± 100 bis 7140 ± 70 v.u.Z. datiert wird und auf lehmigen Sedimenten des Goldthwait-Meeres ruht, mit geschichteten Zwischengezeiten-Schlick-Sand-Sedimenten bedeckt, welche Kolonien von Mya arenaria in lebender Position enthalten, die von 5610 ± 90 bis 5700 ± 90 v.u.Z. datiert werden. Die Mitis-Terrasse ( ± 6 m Hôhe) wurde zwischen 3000 und 1500 Jahren v.u.Z. gebildet, wàhrend die obère Hallig, die ein Substrat von feinem Sand und dunn geschichtetem Schlick (alte slikke), das auf etwa 850 Jahre v.u.Z. datiert wird, ùberragt, eine relativ junge Zwischengezeitenbildung darstellt: weniger als 300 Jahre v.u.Z. Dièse Daten bestàtigen die Fakten. die an funf anderen Plàtzen auf dem Sudufer der Sankt-Lorenz-Gezeitenmundung dargelegt wurden
